Navigate to the [official website](https://telemetry.software/) and click *"Download* for your OS. 2. Alternatively, you can always download the latest release from the [GitHub Repository](https://github.com/RCKT-Software/telemetry) 3. Once the download is complete, run the installer and follow the instructions to install. You may be prompted with a message about an *"Unrecognized app"* - if so, select *"More info"* and then *"Run anyway"*. 6. Telemetry will take a moment to install, and then will open automatically. --- ### Quick Start Guide Getting started is quick and easy - you can setup your first progress tracker and goal in just a couple of minutes. Let's take a look... #### 1. Create a collection ![[Default Collection.png]] When you start the application for the first time you'll see a default "My Collection" folder at the top. You can rename that if you want, or just continue for now. #### 2. Add a progress tracker ![[New Progress Tracker Modal.png]] Within your collection, you’ll create your first tracker. Click on “Add Tracker”. For instance, if your collection is *“Personal Health”*, your tracker might be *“Body Weight”*. #### 3. Set a goal ![[Goal Modal (Body Weight).png]] Once you know what you're tracking, add a goal for what you want to achieve with it. Click on *"Set a goal"* and choose a goal that makes sense for you. #### 4. Capture some data ![[Empty State (Body Weight).png]] A data point is a single entry that reflects progress. It's like a checkpoint on your goal journey. You can add a new data point whenever you have an update, for example, entering your weight every weekday morning. Click on *“Add Data Point”*, enter the current value, and save it. Regular data points help Telemetry make accurate predictions. #### 5. Telemetry performs magic ![[Prediction (Body Weight).png]] Once you've added a few data points, Telemetry begins its magic. It uses this information to predict when you will reach your goal. You'll see a dynamic estimate that updates with each new data point, giving you a glimpse into your future achievement.
